Travers Crane


Description

Venning Travers Crane is used for handling of casting slabs with bricks and concrete blocks in the drying chamber, but can also be used for other purposes and adapted to the customer's needs.


The overhead crane is constructed of two strong steel profiles, supported by a lattice structure.


Along the entire length of the main frame, a tong hangs, which in addition to the gripping function, can be raised and lowered via a scissor-controlled knee joint.
The raising/lowering function is carried out via a winch with a wire rope and load cells at four points on the clamp. The wire rope is driven by a SEW gear.


The pliers' arms are activated using a SEW gear via center tubes and connecting rods.


The crane runs on 4 wheel blocks with timing belt drive on both sides.
The belt drive is driven by a SEW gear.


The traverse crane can lift a long row of plates with workpieces and transport them horizontally in the building and stack them for accumulation and further transport.
